📋 Step-by-Step Guide (6 Steps)
Import Source Video into Editor
Open your free video editing software and start a new project. Drag and drop your source video into the media pool, then drag it down onto Track 1 of your timeline. Ensure the project frame rate and resolution match the source video properties.

Duplicate Video Track for Masking
Duplicate the video clip onto Track 2 directly above the original clip on Track 1. Lock Track 1 so the base layer stays fixed in position and time. This secondary upper layer will serve as your localized patch or blur region.

Draw a Tight Mask Around the Watermark

If the watermark moves across the frame or camera pans, open the motion tracking tab on the mask. Run forward and backward tracking so the mask anchors dynamically to the watermark's path. Scrub the timeline playhead to confirm the mask never slips off target.
