โš ๏ธ Safety Checkpoints & Warnings

๐Ÿ“‹ Step-by-Step Guide (6 Steps)

1

Lay the Leg Foundations

Place two parallel 4x3 rectangular pads of Red Concrete separated by a 2-block air gap. Build both leg columns upward by 5 full blocks. Connect the two columns across the top with a horizontal bridge of Red Concrete to form the crotch curve.

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Camera AI Checkpoint
  • โ€ข Two 4x3 red pillars standing 5 blocks high separated by a 2-block gap
  • โ€ข A solid horizontal bridge connecting the pillars at layer 6
๐Ÿ›‘ Watch Out For
  • โ€ข Leaving an uneven gap between the legs, causing an asymmetrical body
  • โ€ข Making the legs too tall or too stubby relative to standard crewmate proportions
โš ๏ธ Safety Note: Clear surrounding grass and trees so you have an unobstructed ground-level build boundary.
2

Erect the Main Torso and Backpack

Extend the outer walls upward 12 blocks from the leg bridge to establish the torso cavity. On the designated rear wall, extrude a 4x8 rectangular section outward by 3 blocks starting 2 blocks above the leg split to form the oxygen backpack. Keep the inner hollow space open for interior access.

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Camera AI Checkpoint
  • โ€ข A tall hollow red rectangular column rising 12 blocks above the legs
  • โ€ข A distinct 3-block-deep backpack box protruding cleanly from the rear wall
๐Ÿ›‘ Watch Out For
  • โ€ข Forgetting to keep the interior hollow, wasting concrete and losing living space
  • โ€ข Placing the backpack too high or flush with the top head level
โš ๏ธ Safety Note: Use crouch/sneak mode when walking along outer edges to prevent accidental falls from high walls.
3

Frame and Glaze the Visor

On the front face, cut or leave an opening 6 blocks wide and 3 blocks tall, centered horizontally 3 blocks below the roofline. Frame the outer rim with Cyan Concrete, fill the inner pane with Light Blue Stained Glass, and place a 2-block horizontal line of White Concrete in the top-left corner for the reflection glint.

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Camera AI Checkpoint
  • โ€ข Curved visor shape centered on front facade with cyan border
  • โ€ข Translucent light blue glass center with a two-block white highlight in the upper corner
๐Ÿ›‘ Watch Out For
  • โ€ข Centering the white reflection highlight, which ruins the 3D glare illusion
  • โ€ข Making the visor flush with the torso border instead of inset or neatly framed
โš ๏ธ Safety Note: Ensure Silk Touch pickaxe is available if you need to reposition stained glass without destroying it.
4

Shape the Rounded Dome Roof

Cap the top of the torso by stepping inward one block on all four sides using Red Concrete. Add a final 2-block wide central strip across the top peak to create a smoothly rounded crewmate head. Seal all gaps along the roofline to keep out rain and hostile phantom spawns.

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Camera AI Checkpoint
  • โ€ข Smooth, stepped-in dome completing the top of the character
  • โ€ข Fully sealed ceiling with no open air holes visible from inside
๐Ÿ›‘ Watch Out For
  • โ€ข Creating a flat, squared roof that destroys the cartoon aesthetic
  • โ€ข Stepping inward too aggressively, creating a sharp pyramid instead of a dome
โš ๏ธ Safety Note: Always anchor scaffolding to the ground rather than hanging off unrendered roof edges.
5

Install Floors and Vertical Ladder Shaft

Enter the hollow interior and divide the height into three 3-block-tall functional floors using Dark Oak Planks. Install a continuous vertical ladder along one side wall running from the ground floor up to the dome attic, cutting trapdoor hatches through each wooden floor level.

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Camera AI Checkpoint
  • โ€ข Three separate horizontal wooden decks spaced 3 blocks apart vertically
  • โ€ข Continuous ladder line with trapdoors connecting bottom floor to the top dome
๐Ÿ›‘ Watch Out For
  • โ€ข Spacing floors only 2 blocks high, making rooms feel claustrophobic and preventing banner placement
  • โ€ข Placing ladders in the center of rooms, obstructing furniture placement
โš ๏ธ Safety Note: Place lanterns immediately on each newly laid floor to prevent creeper spawns in dark interior corners.
6

Furnish Functional Survival Quarters

Convert the backpack annex into a dedicated storage and smelting hub with double chests and blast furnaces. Place a bed, crafting table, and armor stand in the visor-lit second floor, and install an enchanting setup or brewing station in the top dome attic. Hang lanterns from the ceiling for warm illumination.

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Camera AI Checkpoint
  • โ€ข Backpack room lined with accessible double chests and furnaces
  • โ€ข Cozy bedroom layout behind the glass visor illuminated by warm lanterns
๐Ÿ›‘ Watch Out For
  • โ€ข Crowding doorways so player hitboxes get stuck when transitioning rooms
  • โ€ข Placing chests directly under solid blocks, preventing them from opening
โš ๏ธ Safety Note: Check F3 debug screen light levels to ensure no floor block has a light level below 1.
