How to Install Windows 11 on a Smartphone
Set up and run Windows 11 ARM on an Android smartphone using Limbo PC Emulator or a direct ARM64 virtual disk image for emulation.

๐ Step-by-Step Guide (5 Steps)
Prepare Internal Storage and App Installation
Download and install the Limbo PC Emulator (or Termux QEMU environment) APK onto your Android device. Create a dedicated folder named 'Windows11' in your phone's internal storage root directory to house the system files. Verify that the device has at least 25GB of free storage space before proceeding.

Transfer Windows 11 ARM Disk Image
Connect the smartphone to your PC using the USB-C data cable and set USB mode to 'File Transfer'. Copy the pre-configured Windows 11 ARM VHD or QCOW2 virtual hard disk image into the 'Windows11' folder on the phone. Eject the phone safely from the PC once the file transfer is completely finished.

Configure Virtual Machine Architecture in Limbo
Open Limbo Emulator and create a new virtual machine profile named 'Win11'. Set the Architecture to 'ARM64' (or x86_64 if using translation), allocate 4 to 6 CPU cores, and assign half of your device's total RAM (e.g., 4096MB on an 8GB phone). Under the Hard Disk section, select the transferred Windows 11 image as Hard Disk A.

Attach Peripheral Inputs via OTG

Boot and Initialize Windows 11

Allow several minutes for the initial system service initialization until the desktop or OOBE screen appears.
