Remove Graphics Card and Internal Cables

Unplug the 24-pin ATX power connector, 8-pin CPU power cable, SATA cables, fan headers, and front-panel connectors. Unscrew the GPU PCIe bracket screws from the case rear, press down the PCIe slot retention latch, and pull the graphics card straight out. Place the graphics card on a non-conductive surface.

Place the new motherboard flat on its cardboard retail packaging. Install the CPU into the socket, close the load lever, install M.2 NVMe drives into their slots with heatsinks secured, and press RAM sticks into their designated dual-channel slots until both side latches click shut.
