📋 Step-by-Step Guide (5 Steps)
Remove Bottom Security Screws
Insert the star-shaped T15 security bit into the orange Ring screwdriver handle. Locate the two security screws on the bottom edge of the doorbell casing. Turn counter-clockwise until both screws are completely removed, setting them aside in a secure dish.

- • Using a Phillips bit which strips the star-shaped Torx head
- • Dropping screws into garden mulch or porch floor cracks
Unhook Doorbell from Mounting Bracket
Grip the sides of the doorbell firmly with your fingers. Pull the bottom of the doorbell outward away from the wall, then lift upward slightly to release the top locking hooks. Lay the unit face down indoors on a soft microfiber cloth.

Connect Micro-USB Charging Cable
Locate the micro-USB charging port on the back of the doorbell body. Insert the micro-USB plug firmly into the port with the narrow side aligned properly. Connect the other end of the cable to a powered 5V USB wall outlet adapter.

Verify Full Charge Status
Observe the circular LED light on the front of the doorbell as it charges. As the battery fills, the blue LED segments will progressively light up around the ring. Wait until the entire circular LED turns solid blue with no flashing or gaps before disconnecting.

Remount and Secure the Doorbell
Disconnect the micro-USB cable. Hook the top lip of the doorbell into the top notch of the mounting bracket at a 45-degree angle, then push the bottom flush against the wall until it clicks. Reinstall the two security screws into the bottom edge using the T15 screwdriver bit until snug.
